This course is designed to teach beginners how to safely shoot a recurve bow. Sessions will be run from 7:30pm to 9:30pm on Thursday nights for 4 consecutive weeks from 3rd March to 24th March 2022.

At the end of the course you will have the necessary skills to safely shoot a recurve bow and will be able to join Woodford Archers or another Archery GB affiliated club.

Attendees would need to be able to draw a bow of at least 16 pounds, this will usually be from around 10 -12 years old*.

Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of each training session.

Please wear closed toe shoes, tops without strings and remove any jewellery which may be caught by the bowstring.

Please note your target may be shared by up to three people but you will be allocated individual bows and arrows.
