This Course if for those who have been to an Archery Training Course previously, have significant previous experience or would like to renew their current Archery Permit.
You will have the opportunity to take an assessment and get a Scout Archery Permit, which will allow you to lead archery activities for Scouts of any age.
The assessment is open to anyone over 18 who is a member of the Scout Association.
If you are not a member of The Scout Association, you will not be able to take part due to insurance, safety and safeguarding requirements.
You don't need any equipment, as we will provide everything you need. The assessment is free, and we will provide tea/coffee.
The assessment will take place at Thornthwaite Scout Campsite (HG3 4AQ), on the weekend of the 6th September, 2025. The assessment runs from 9am to 1pm.
Note: If you are renewing your permit, please provide you Log Book for review on the day.
