Archery, Orienteering and Night Line in Bristol

A great day at our woodland site. Perfect for complete beginner or those returning to have more fun!
Orienteering: Learn art of navigation and map reading in a challenge to ‘beat the clock’. Find marker posts around the course, collect clues and try not to get lost! This activity encourages teamwork and lets you explore the woods at your own pace.
Archery: Experience the sport of Archery on our woodland range! Learn how to correctly wield a bow, shoot straight and compensate for distance. Then, play a number of games that encourage quick-thinking and dexterity.
Night Line : Have fun clambering around our obsticle course following a 'night line' whilst blindfolded. This great fun activity allows you to sharpen your senses of touch and listening!
Format of the Day:
The meeting place will be: Pooles Wharf Activity Centre, Hotwell Road, BS8 4RU. (Next to the Grain Barge Floating Bar/ Restaurant)
Please bring: lunch and drink, warm clothes. The woodland site can be chilly in the shade.
Wear trousers and closed shoes (not flip flops or sandals). Trainers or lace up shoes are perfect..
Your child should arrive at Pooles Wharf between 9am-9:30am, where they will meet the instructor and the other participants before setting off for the activity site at 9:45am. (It is a 10 minute minibus ride to our woodland site)
When the session has ended at around 4pm the children will return to Pooles Wharf and wait to be picked up at 4:15pm. Parents/carers will be contacted if their child has not been collected by 4:30pm.
