Calling all budding architects! Learn the art of architectural drawing with Sir John Soane's Museum's new course.

Our new architectural drawing course is perfect for 15 to 18 year olds who have a background in art and design and would love to go on to study architecture in Higher Education. Led by expert architect Benedict O'Looney (M.Arch RIBA), you will master a range of drawing skills over six sessions (one a month) and will visit some of London’s most architecturally fascinating buildings to hone your craft.

By the end of the course you will have:
  • Used a variety of scales and media
  • Discovered how different techniques require different approaches
  • Worked from townscapes and panoramic views
  • Studied interiors
  • Expanded their knowledge of drawing materials
  • Learnt the techniques of architectural detailing
  • Gained a fascinating insight into the development of London’s built environment

Each session runs from 11:00 to 15:30. Session dates:
  • Saturday 19 November 2016
  • Saturday 17 December 2016
  • Saturday 21 January 2017
  • Saturday 18 February 2017
