This event will see exciting activities taking place both inside and outside our site at Kew.  Activities taking place outside the building (Fold your Archive) are free. Access to our building, the MI5: Official Secrets exhibition and event activities taking place inside will require a ticket.

Tours and Time Travel Club sessions can be booked as an additional add on at check out and will most likely sell out. These sessions are marked with an asterisk. You will need a general entry ticket to attend these sessions.

Onsite Facilities

Our shop and café (provided by Maids of Honour) will be open throughout the event, with local middle eastern food truck, the Cheeky Pea, on our forecourt.
We don't have any childcare facilities, so you'll need to always stay with your children during the event.

Question 4

Getting Here

Accepted Answer

The closest station to The National Archives is Kew Gardens, approximately 10 mins walk away. It is serviced by the London Overground and District lines. An alternative station is Kew Bridge, serviced by South Western Railway, which is a 15 to 20 minute walk away via the Thames River Path.

Parking

While we do have onsite parking available, we encourage visitors to use public transport if they can. Visitor parking will be free but limited on the day.
