Join us for Archives Live: Windrush on 13 October at 2pm! This event is aimed at Key Stage 4 and will take you to 19th century Whitechapel to explore migration to the East End.

In this broadcast, our host Jenny Draper will take you through migration stories from Jamaica, Ireland and Eastern Europe, and the challenges migrants faced living in the overcrowded and impoverished London borough.

Students will be able to submit questions before and during the broadcast to be answered live by Jenny and guests.

The broadcast will support the Historic Environment: Whitechapel, Migration, & Crime and Punishment GCSE modules.
