A case study workshop of 'Bangladesh 50', to investigate creative and technical approaches to producing a lasting historical record.

About this event

Funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, in this workshop Ming-Ai invites Rainbow Collective to use the case study of 'Bangladesh 50', a collaboration with National Portrait Gallery and Tower Hamlets Archive to celebrate 50 years of Bangladesh's independence, to investigate creative and technical approaches to producing a lasting historical record in a format which is both accessible to the public and professionally packaged for archival posterity.

Rainbow Collective is a documentary production and training company who collaborate with broadcasters, community groups, educational institutions, archives and campaigners. Alongside their own productions, Rainbow Collective provide training and mentoring in the community to develop skills in video production, editing, online distribution and digital archiving. Their work in digital heritage includes collaborations with National Portrait Gallery, Bishopsgate Institute, Grenfell United, The Rana Plaza Campaign and many others.
