Please join us at Caxton House Community Centre for the launch of an exciting new community-led initiative to make Archway a greener, more energy-efficient place.
Power Up North London—a community benefit society —works with local buildings to cut carbon emissions and reduce energy costs. We are joining forces with Caxton House Community Centre, Islington Sustainability Network, Octopus Communities Network, and Islington Council, to launch the Archway Community Energy Neighbourhood project on 13 October.
This place-based approach to decarbonisation will:
- Provide practical, tailored support to help participating sites cut energy use & costs
- Demonstrate community energy in action, right here in Archway
- Create lasting environmental, social, and economic benefits for the local area
At the launch event, you’ll have the chance to:
- Find out how your building could take part and benefit
- Learn about funding plans for the project
- Meet project partners and other local organisations
- Help shape this exciting initiative from the start
