Legacy in the Community in collaboration with the Woodmor Foundation is bringing a new employability programme to Wales. In February 2023 we are taking 12 unemployed disabled people to the Arctic for our brand new challenge programme. The Woodmor Foundation works with people to help them gain employability skills through the unique lens of undertaking challenges. We are hosting a breakfast meeting for organisations who work with disabled people, those with long term health conditions and mental health barriers to hear more about this incredible project. We are also keen to have existing employability programmes in Wales join us to potentially encourage their candidates to take part in the challenge also.
