Arduino Controlled Automaton: Intro to Making - Level 2B

Get to grips with microcontrollers and electronics by making an Automaton truly autonomous using Arduino, some code, sensors and a variety of other electronic components!
Will you make yours respond to sound, light or motion? The cost includes the Automaton, Arduino and sensors to take away, so you can continue to augment and adapt your creation at home.
- Basic electronics theory
- Arduino Training
- Soldering Training
- Automaton Electronics Kit
- Pre-Built Automaton (if participant has not already attended Level 2)
All attendees will need to:
- Bring their own laptop running Windows, OSX or Linux
- Install the Arduino IDE on their laptop before coming to the workshop
- Bring their Automaton (if attending after completing Level 2)
If you have already attended Introduction to Making Level 2, there is a discounted rate available as you will be modifiying the Automaton you have already made. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
About the Introduction to Making series
The Introduction to Making series of courses was developed by Machines Room to give newcomers in to the world of design, making and digital fabrication a starting point at which to learn the processes involved in taking their ideas from concept to finished object. Each level of the course builds on the knowledge of the previous and is focused on the production of a particular item (which can be taken home at the end), gradually teaching paticipants the skills needed to complete their own projects.
