In the course you'll learn about the basics of Arduino - from how to get it connected to your computer and updating the code, through to simple input and output circuits. You'll be making LED lights flash or fade, controlling motors and servos and building projects that respond to buttons being pressed or changes in temperature.
All the parts that you'll need will be provided, and you'll be able to take them away with you - along with course notes, instructions on how to wire things together and corresponding code examples.
Adrian McEwen has been playing around with Arduino since 2008. You might have seen one of his early creations, Bubblino, at an event somewhere, blowing bubbles whenever the event is mentioned on Twitter. He has run a number of Arduino courses over the years, including the popular Howduino events, and runs an Internet of Things consultancy - MCQN Ltd - here in Liverpool.
