According to the findings from the Office for National Statistics (ONS), nearly one-fifth of adults experience anxiety or depression. There is an increasing interest the recent years into understanding the complex interplay between genes, environment and physiology into shaping affective behaviour. The seminar will discuss the importance of advancing our knowledge in this area of inquiry which may help to identify early biomarkers and aid the designation of early interventions for the most vulnerable.
