Description

Join us for insights, information and informal networking at fiftyennials' inaugural meet up in central London.

Helping and keeping people in their fifties and sixties in work represents the greatest workforce development challenge in the UK (well we think so!).

We are facing unprecedented change in the skills and competencies needed for this next industrial revolution. This is alongside the prospect of lower income, higher costs of living and having to face and embrace the fact that employment will become increasingly temporary and uncertain.

When you are in your 50s and 60s you also have to contend with caring responsibilities for older relatives, are probably still looking after your children, likely to be experiencing ageism and in some cases poor health.

We have to think differently about how we support an older workforce and, as we are also not getting any younger, how we help ourselves thrive in an uncertain future.

This event brings together some ideas for action, developing practice and tools for making it in the Gig Economy and importantly a chance to network amongst like minded professionals and colleagues that have the power to influence change.

Places are free and allocated on a first come first served basis.

We look forward to meeting you and making a Friday afternoon in January informative and memorable!
