Stirling Careers Consultancy offers clients one to one support for those who are considering a career change and a process and framework to guide and help them plan their career going forward.

This webinar will be particularly helpful to those clients who are looking to change career and are not sure where to start. Alternatively, they want guidance along the way and may require support and ‘sounding board’ to talk to someone who has experience of career change. Alistair Stirling retrained as a careers advisor at the age of 50 and understands the challenges and pitfalls involved in changing career.

Who will run this webinar?

Alistair Stirling, the owner of Stirling Careers Consultancy, will run the webinar. He currently works with a whole range of clients of varying ages who are dissatisfied with their career and need help and support in changing career. The most common reason why clients come to us is lack of job satisfaction, clients are feeling undervalued or unappreciated by their line manager, boredom, or want more of a challenge and opportunities for growth. There are many other reasons too. He works with clients to help them identify their transferable skills and research other possible careers which would be suitable for them. He has previously worked with health professionals helping them to plan and manage their careers within the NHS. Earlier this year he delivered a session for HR professionals wanting help with planning their career going forward and received very positive feedback. He works across a whole range of sectors / professions with clients who are dissatisfied with their career. Alistair has previously mentored HR professionals some of whom have now moved into Senior HR positions. He is a qualified and registered careers adviser with an MA in Career Guidance.
