About this event

Growing a business is challenging. Growing a business is exciting. Growing a business is a journey. Growing a business is about innovation. Growing a business needs leaders who are determined and adaptable.

But where do you start? New products, new markets or new pricing model, or all of these? Is AI the answer?

Designed for small and medium-sized business owners and leaders from any sector, this intimate roundtable session will give you insights and practical takeaways to kick start your business' growth.

Participate in a roundtable discussion exploring and unpicking specific issues and barriers to growth, such as:

  • Understanding your strategic options for growth
  • Developing business plans, goals and strategy
  • Funding options and accessing them
  • Using technology, including AI, to increase productivity and improve products or services
  • Ensuring your leadership team has the mindset and capability to lead the change with you
  • Creating and protecting a business culture which enables growth
  • Aligning your business to focus on delivery

Hear from three experts with direct experience of working for and with companies that have grown through innovation and technology: Sarah Chilcott, Director of hgkc and former Managing Director of the Planning Portal; Andy Farmer, Managing Director of My Oxygen; and Neil Hutchings BSc FCA MCSI, Corporate Finance Partner at Albert Goodman who will share their experience of what growth finance options.

Interested? Join us on the 16 Sept 2025, 8.30-11.30am, at Square Works Bristol, 17-19 Berkeley Square, Bristol BS8 1HB.

Places are limited to allow for thorough discussion; they are also fully-funded, which means no charge to attend. Booking is required and early registration is recommended to secure your place.

Coffee and breakfast will be available from 8.30am, and the conversation will be from 9-11am; the room will remain available for networking after until 11.30am.
