Once upon a time there was a CIPD Learning & Development Group with a marvellous idea. They pondered how story-telling could be more effectively used in your L&D approaches and wondered whether an event on the topic would be interesting, intriguing and beneficial. After many days and nights on a long journey of thoughtful adventure, they decided such an event could only be both fascinating and mind-provoking.
Join us for an evening around the campfire, where we'll explore:
- Why we tell stories and why they are so compelling
- The 7 basic plots of stories
- How to tell a good story
- The fascinating impact of metaphor and analogy
- What stories are told in organisations and the power they have
- How to weave fictional narrative into your L&D events
Come with an open mind, a vivid imagination and your own stories to share, together let's create our own L&D happy ending….
