Crynodeb o’r Cynnwys:

  • Gareth Coombes, Ymgynghorydd Annibynnol i gynnig hyfforddiant i bob arweinydd ysgol / addysgu ar draws y rhanbarth ar ddefnydd effeithiol o gontinwwm addysgu a dysgu.
  • Bwriad yr hyfforddiant yw cefnogi arweinwyr wrth ymgymryd â gwella addysgu ar gyfer dysgu mewn ffordd strwythuredig a chynaliadwy

Summary of content:

  • Gareth Coombes, Independent Adviser to offer training to all school/ teaching leaders across the region on effective use of teaching and learning continua.
  • The course sets out to support leaders in undertaking the role of improving teaching for learning in a structured and sustained manner.
  • It will enable leaders to determine the specific strengths and areas in need of improvement in individual teachers and whole school practices. It will also help schools to take the necessary action to raise standards.

Aims:

  • Develop teachers’ and leaders to evaluate and monitor their teaching standards and methods accurately and consistently and plan effectively for further improvements
  • Individual teachers within schools to become responsible for their own learning and professional development
  • Raise teaching standards and reduce variance in teaching standards within primary schools across the region
