Argus Hulin has been working in the games industry since 2010, where he started as a QA tester and on smaller titles, and worked up to producing AAA games. Argus is "always exploring the flexible medium that allows developers to create heart wrenching tales, engrossing adventure stories, thrilling shoot ‘em ups, and so much more." He has worked on titles including The Sims 3 University, The Sims 4, Destiny and Halo 3.
The lecture will touch Argus’s own experiences of games cultures—from gamer as well as developer views—and detail the trajectory from gameplay to the gaming industry as a professional path. He will also discuss some of the ways games influence how we think, act and learn, and come full circle to show how this impacts the industry and games-in-development.
