All disciplines are welcomed to join the competition where you will get an opportunity to use ARM mbed microcontrollers, sensors, and explore the ARM mbed OS eco-system. Engineers will be present on the day to help you get started with the platform and for general support throughout the event.

The theme is to create, in teams of 2-4, an ARM powered device that can be marketed towards the IOT “Internet of things” segment within 24 hours; students have previously created laser harps, robotic arm, smart plant pot, rowing tracker, weather blimp, bike lights, etc. truly endless possibilities!

There are three prizes up for grab, £300 for the winning team, £150 for the runners up, and £30 for the best tweet.
