Stress Busters is an informal six-week community course to help people understand and manage stress. The date above is the first of the six weeks of the course and new people must join us in week 1 or certainly week 2 because from then, the course closes. This is because a lot of material gets covered and it would be too difficult for new people to catch up.
On this course, attendees will gain techniques and insights to manage stress, anxiety, worry, and low mood. This course is educational rather than counselling, so at no point will attendees ever be asked in front of others to answer a question directly, or to talk about how they are feeling. Instead, all information will be on slides and in handouts. Additionally, at all times it is quite fine simply to say “Ill pass on that” or "no comment" if you do not wish to contribute to a discussion.
The above date is the first date of the 6 week course (numbers permitting). More information about Stress Busters can be found at: http://www.theicancentre.com/stress-busters-1.html
