Extend the good times had on the hill into the evening, socialise and dance the night away with old and new-found friends.

Arran's very own Boathouse Ceilidh Band will be giving us some great tunes and dances – with a caller to instruct and help us get in the swing of things.

There will be a raffle and, of course, the now traditional “Shove a pound” game (to win a bottle of Arran Whisky) so remember to bring a few pound coins!

BYOB. Small selection of soft drinks will be available to buy.

Doors open 7pm, music starts at 7.30pm

Do I need to have previous ceilidh dancing experience?

No previous experience necessary! There will be a caller explaining the sequence of moves for all the dances, and they're easy to pick up!

Will there be food available at the venue?

No, but you are welcome to bring your own nibbles, and there are several take-aways and restaurants within easy walking distance of Brodick village hall, catering for most tastes and budgets, see www.visitarran.com/food-drink for details. We recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.

Will there be a bar?

There will be a small selection of soft drinks available to buy. No alcohol will be for sale, but you are welcome to Bring Your Own Bottle (BYOB).

Can people who are not attending any Mountain Festival walks or runs come along to the ceilidh?

Yes of course, everyone is welcome, the more the merrier!
