Event description

Description

Goldsmiths students and staff are invited to record their stories of arrival in London with the Conversation Booth, part of the Mayor of London’s ‘Arrival’ project.

Whether you’ve just arrived or been here for decades, whether you migrated from within the UK, Europe or further afield, we want to hear your stories of arriving in London.

Once you’ve recorded your story, send a postcard to the city and contribute to an evolving display of messages to London from the people who live here.

The Conversation Booth is a mobile recording facility encouraging conversation, listening and archiving. Designed by Goldsmiths MA student, Nicole Robson, it’s part of the Mayor of London’s ‘Arrival’ work, ‘Celebrating Windrush and the Communities who followed’.
