Come and explore Chester’s rich architectural history through the Grosvenor Museum art collection.
Join the Grosvenor Museum’s art curator for a tour of the Art Gallery. We will look at Chester’s changing urban landscape, as depicted by local and national artists, discussing different paintings in the collection and thinking about the rich interactions of art and architecture.
There will also be an opportunity to see art from the works on paper collection, usually kept in storage
Meeting Point: Grosvenor Museum Art Gallery, upstairs.
Unfortunately this event is not accessible to anybody with mobility challenges as there are only steep steps up to the first floor where the Art Gallery is located.
