What will this course cover?
This course will begin an understanding of the substance and importance of a group of paintings and sculptures that continue to provide feeling and thought for our lives today. The course will particularly focus on different aspects of Modernist European and North American art dated after 1900.
What will I get out of this course?
This course will help you gain an understanding of how Modernism works and build on your technical eye for artwork. Furthermore, you will join an engaging tutor and experience class discussion with likeminded individuals.
What level is the course and do I need any particular skills or experience?
This is an intermediate level course - a brief understanding of the modernist art movement would be ideal, but you do not need any formal qualifications.
What do I need to bring with me?
No equipment is needed, but you may wish to bring a pen and notepad to write down your thoughts.
