During the workshop we will visit and take inspiration from Julian Perry’s Exhibition, There Rolls the Deep, about coastal erosion and climate change, which will be on show in the Art Gallery from 18th February.
Using a variety of wires, fabrics, natural and man made objects sourced from a local beach, we will create an assembled and woven land/seascape.
SUGGESTED SMALL NATURAL AND MAN- MADE OBJECTS TO COLLECT:
Shells, feathers, rope, driftwood, smoothened glass/ pieces of pottery, plastic and rubber items etc.
*Please feel free to sign up to our Beach Clean on the 12th February at Weston Shore or on the 22nd February at Lepe Beach to collect materials for the art workshop (Not compulsory).
