Art Baby - Music Baby
Art Baby - Music Baby is especially designed for babies before they learn to walk. Our sessions incorporate a range of creative, tactile, baby-friendly materials and resources to explore. A musician, who uses musical instruments and the voice, will interact with your little one, providing a soundscape that encourages you and your little one to form connections with art and the expressive languages. Spend time together, make noise, talk, listen, feel, share and explore.
Language Baby - 9 November, 10am-3pm (free, booking required)
Join us for a special day of free, multi-sensory workshops for babies and their grown-ups. Together with researchers from the ESRC International Centre for Language and Communicative Development (LuCiD) we'll be exploring how babies learn from their environment and sharing research on what they can understand before they talk.
ESRC researchers will be on hand to take you through interactive activities and demonstrations or to answer any burning questions you may have about how babies communicate.
Researcher stalls and drop-ins will be running alongside 3 bookable workshops run by musicians, storytellers and researchers, available to book here from Thursday 3 November:
Art Baby- Music Baby, 9 November: 10.15-11.15, 11.30-12.30
Language Baby, 9 November: 12.45-13.45
