Art Bites are online sessions for approx. 45 mins, covering topics that are consistently popping up in our mailbox or keep coming up in discussion. This can cover elements and topics on business structures, governance, fundraising and other elements that are coming up and wanting to be explored

This will be a webinar format; cameras can be turned off and mics muted can be muted during the conversation. Questions and the call will be monitored by A&B NI staff. Please keep this in mind when joining the call

Attendees will –

1) Get bite sized information of various topics each month

2) Be able to gain ask questions and engage with others on the call

3) Upskill or share knowledge on topics whilst having their lunch

In this edition we will be talking all things about researching for suitable funds for your organisation and how funding officers with various backgrounds research for funding opportunities. We will be discussing where they look for funds, what current trends they are sending within the funding landscape and more about them and the organisations they represent!

On this call will be:

Anita Doonan is the Funding and Social Value at Supporting Communities, an independent charity that champions tenant and community participation. With over 15 years experience in the community and voluntary sector, she specialises in Funding and Social Value for Housing Community Network groups. Anita is passionate about building capacity and empowering groups to identify and access funding opportunities, making a positive impact in the communities they live in.

Holly Foskett who is the Arts Programme Manager at Arts & Business NI. Arts & Business NI is a creative membership network bringing together cultural and commercial businesses, helping them grow stronger together through the power of partnership. They advocate for the value of arts, invest in innovation, and ensure that the NI arts and cultural sector has the confidence, capacity, and skills to achieve creative freedom through financial independence.Holly provides fundraising support and advice to arts organisations and leads on Arts Member communications and delivers arts sector specfic training and events.
