About this event
Groups of talented artists with a common vision typically find each other, leading to innovative collaborations. In this summer season series of online lectures with Dr Marie-Anne Mancio we take a look at contrasting cliques of painters who shared either artistic vision or geography, and in many cases, faced similar societal distress.
In the last of this 'Double Acts' series we juxtapose the Superflat and the Sublime in the Japanese art world. Artists to be discussed include Takashi Murakami, Yoshitomo Nara, Mariko Mori, Chiharu Shiota.
Grab a glass of wine if you are on Europe time, or a coffee if in the USA and join the London Art Salon for our series of Zoom lectures with Dr Marie-Anne Mancio.
