About the Event

The art exhibition "Culture, Innovation & Sustainability" aims to explore and artistically convey ideas surrounding cultural diversity, inclusivity, and our collective responsibility for a sustainable future. By showcasing diverse artworks and perspectives, the exhibition highlights how cultural identity and creative innovation can serve as powerful tools for fostering inclusivity and addressing global environmental and social challenges. Through visual storytelling and creative expression, participating artists promote understanding, empathy, and appreciation for diverse cultures while reflecting on the role of innovation in building more resilient, equitable, and sustainable communities. This exhibition serves as a platform to spark meaningful conversations and inspire positive change, encouraging viewers to reflect on their own values and actions in relation to cultural diversity and sustainability.

The "Culture, Innovation & Sustainability" exhibition seeks to enlighten, inspire, and empower both international and Austrian communities through a dynamic mix of modern, contemporary, sustainable and street art.

As part of ICDO's eighth-year anniversary celebration of #SafeguardingDiversity, the exhibition highlights the critical role cultural diversity plays worldwide. "Culture, Innovation & Sustainability" will showcase thought-provoking works that explore cultural identity, innovative perspectives, and sustainable futures—amplifying the voices of underrepresented communities and addressing critical social and environmental issues.

The exhibition will open during the Long Nights of Interculturality 2025, on September 25th, at the Yunus Emre Institute’s gallery in Vienna.

Artworks for participation will be selected by a panel of professionals based on artistic excellence and originality, emphasizing the theme of "Culture, Innovation & Sustainability".

Through this exhibition, ICDO aims to challenge norms, promote cultural diversity, and advocate for a sustainable environment, emphasizing peace as the ultimate solution.
