Description

Art for Wellbeing: Ottoman Mandalas Workshop
Saturday 10th August 2019
The ArtSpace at Cass Art Manchester: 55-57 Oldham Street, Manchester, M1 1JR
10am - 1pm
£30

Be inspired by patterns from the decorative Ottoman architecture of Istanbul. Then learn how to draw Turkish motifs to create your own mandala design, freehand with ink. By the end of this workshop with artist Lizzie Hobbs, you will have produced an intricate piece of artwork to take home and colour in. Drawing mandalas promotes wellbeing and is a peaceful process that helps to calm the mind, explore your creativity, and take time out.

The course has a small capacity so places are limited.

All abilities welcome. Age 16+. All materials provided.
