Models, muses, business managers, workshop heads, teachers, practitioners – without women, the existence of art seems unthinkable. Yet, apart from a few notable examples, women have remained curiously absent from the art historic canon. In this, our thirteenth series of art history lectures from ProArtium, we are pleased to feature the works of five women artists represented in our collection, to celebrate their achievements and explore some of the high points of, as well as challenges to, female creativity.

Introductory ticket offer for the online art history lecture series

Tickets for the art history lecture series are usually £6 per lecture or £25 for a series ticket. As an introductory offer to the lectures being delivered online, tickets for this first online series will be discounted to £5 per lecture
