We all face uncertainty in one way or another, and globally we are seeing increasing instability and precarity. But what are the role of the arts in all of this? And how can the arts be used as part of activism to make change? We invite you to join us to discuss uncertainty in relation to socioeconomic inequalities, health disparities, displacement and immigration, climate change, threats to democracy, and other major issues facing us today. The conversation will be facilitated by Kunle Adewale and colleagues (to be announced) from Arts in Medicine Projects.
This event is hosted by The Arts Play Health Community (University of Edinburgh) in partnership with The Global Arts in Medicine Fellowship, Global South Arts & Health, and PATHS Research Group to celebrate Black History Month.
This event will take place online via Zoom. Please sign up to receive the meeting details.
Please note that this event follows a seminar-style structure and we encourage active participation through dialogue. This is a great way to network with others and all are welcome to attend. If you have any access requirements of questions, please contact Katey on kwarran@ed.ac.uk
