Description

Arts awards and arts fun and adventure for children who are home schooled.

Be inspired by nature, art, poetry, music and everything creative.

Optional study towards Discover, Explore, and Bronze Arts Award with Hilda Sheehan

This semester, February to June, we will be working with The Planets by the English composer Gustav Holst in Science, Music, Arts, and Poetry.

On 15th March we will vist the Holst Birthplace Museum, 4 Clarence Road, Cheltenham GL52 2AY: additionals costs are: Adults: £6, Children (5-15): £2, Concessions: £5.50, Family ticket (2 adults & up to 3 children): £14

Group visits by appointment (We will look into the costs here).

In the first session, we will look at the planet Mars - read a 'Martian poem' - write our own poems to music or create artworks of what earth might look like to 'Martians'.

15th February, 15th March, 19th April, 31st May, 15th June (19th July is a free runaround and enjoy the garden session)
