Art Journalling is a great activity to put aside your phone and improve mindfulness and well-being. Combining sketchbook practice, junk journal, bullet journal and diary - it is a fun visual way to capture your thoughts, document your days or just explore your creativity. Anyone can make an art journal!
At each session a theme is provided to guide and inspire.
The theme this month is COVER: cover up, hide, layer up, cover for someone, song covers, book covers... There will be a demonstration of different ways of covering up areas with glue, semi-transparent layers, paint etc.
Combine paper scraps that you’ve collected, pieces of collage, or your own photos with lettering, paint, pens, ink, doodles, stamps and/or gelli plate papers to create personal pages.
A selection of basic materials is provided in the class but please bring along any collage or art materials you have and love to use. There is no such thing as too much!
You can bring your own sketchbook to work in or select the ticket with notebook option and we'll bring one along for you.
