Join us at Temperance for the opening night of Isabel Hughes’ exhibition, an evening that blends art and live music.

The work is inspired by Isabel’s time in Kenya, where she carried out mosquito fieldwork for her PhD research on malaria. Field notes and photographs from the trip have been transformed into paintings and sketches, offering a representation of the landscapes, daily life, and ecology she encountered. The result is a visual diary that brings the process of scientific fieldwork to life through art.

To mark the occasion, the evening will also feature live sets from talented singer-songwriters Montgomery (@musicbymontgomery), Jack Williams (@jackwmusicc), and special guests. Expect a welcoming space to enjoy art, music, and conversation.'
