Love printing, but always wondered what the right media is? Want to learn how to get amazing results every time?
Learning how to print is one thing, but understanding the media, its characteristics and properties is another. On Friday, 15th August, we are hosting two PermaJet workshops to learn the 'Art of Paper Selection' and how the media you choose can affect your image.
What will you learn?
During this 2.5hr workshop, you will learn:
- All about the 'Art of Paper Selection' and get to see and feel PermaJet's Award-Winning range of paper.
- Learn how to assess an image to better understand if you should go with Lustre, Gloss or Matt finish or if a fibre-based paper would work better than cotton.
- All attendees can bring along 2-3 images to use for the most important assessment, the printing. See what one image looks like on contrasting papers to better understand the properties of the different media types available.
At the end of the workshop, you will walk away with your printed images, but you will also receive an A4 sample pack to take home and continue your learning.
Workshop Times
The workshops will be 10:00 - 12:30 and 14:00 to 16:30 and held at our Cheltenham store. Booking is required as we only have 10 spaces per workshop available.
