ABOUT THE EVENT
Join us on Saturday, 4th October for a day of exploring the art of wildflower painting with expert guidance from artist Sally Purdy. We will be at the Invershin Hall from 10.30am - 3.30pm.
This hands-on workshop will teach you how to use watercolors, resist, and pen & ink to capture the unique colors and forms of local wildflowers.
By the end of the day, you'll have a set of beautiful, hand-painted postcards to share.
Bring along some lunch & your enthusiasm!
ABOUT OUR TUTORS:
Sally Purdy also worked for us on our 'Flight Path' project, leading sessions devoted to 3 large mosaic pieces which she designed herself.
She is a fabulous artist and very down-to-earth. You can currently find the aforementioned mosaics hanging up in Ferrycroft Visitor Centre.
ABOUT THE FUNDER
The wildflower postcard sessions have been kindly subsidised by funds from The National Lottery. Our project 'Mountains to Coast: A Wellness Journey' has been created to help adults reconnect with nature and improve isolation and mental wellbeing in rural areas.
