Over four creative and inspiring days, young artists will explore the building blocks of visual art: drawing, painting, printmaking, and 3D sculpture in a playful yet focused way. This isn’t just about making art - it’s about discovering how artists think, see, and express themselves.
Each day we’ll be learning new skills as they explore the elements of art - line, shape, colour, texture, space, and form - and learn how to combine them using the principles of design to create balanced, powerful, and imaginative works. With guidance from a professional artist, children will gain confidence in their abilities, experiment with different materials, and develop the techniques that form the foundation of all creative practice.
By the end of the camp, each young artist will not only have a collection of artwork to be proud of, but also a deeper understanding of how to bring their ideas to life. More importantly, they will leave with a sense of creative independence, curiosity, and the tools to keep growing as an artist long after the workshop ends.
