Event description

Description

In the Amanda Aldous Gallery in the fabulous surroundings of Newlyns Farm Shop

Catherine Ingleby will take you through the essential components of colour theory, how to embrace it and enhance your own work. We will look at the work of the various artists hanging in the gallery, discuss their palettes and the handling of colours, contrasts and tone. The workshop will be held in the airy studio upstairs, and using supplied reference images you will apply what you have studied to your own work, and every student will hopefully produce at least one finished piece by the end of the session.

Please bring sketching materials and a preferred colour medium, no oils please! Easels are not really required, but you may bring one if you prefer to work standing.

10 -1pm (with a break for coffee!)

£45

You may also book directly in the gallery, or by contacting Amanda on amanda@aafineart.co.uk or call the gallery on 01256 674444
