In my workshops you will learn how to draw and use Watercolours to paint animals, flowers etc. Fill your walls at home with your own art.
About this event
About me: I am a local watercolour artist from Redlynch just outside Salisbury but still in the New Forest National Park. This is where most of my inspiration comes from. As well as watercolours I like to dabble with acrylic paint, pen and other mediums. My paintings can be found in UK homes as well as Internationally. I regularly exhibit my work and run classes in my Studio at home twice a week. My art appears as originals, prints, on cushions, coasters and greeting cards. Workshop details: In the first hour I will teach you how to draw the image that we are working from, whether it be an animal, flowers, beach huts, The Queens Jubilee ideas etc. Nearer Christmas we will have a go at making your own Christmas card design. How special is that!
We will take a break for a drink before putting Watercolour paint to paper. I will teach you tips and tricks to enhance your own work which you will be proud to take home, frame and hang on your walls.
What is provided: All materials such as pencils, erasers, paints, paper and brushes will be provided although you are welcome to bring along any favourite brushes and watercolours from home.
When: The workshop will run on a Monday evening from 6pm to 9pm every fortnight, covering a different subject each time.
Pop into the Ox Row for a drink or meal beforehand. What could be nicer!
