Art Workshop- Local Landmarks

In a relaxed and friendly garden studio environment you’ll learn how to create a mixed media image of a local building or view.

We'll start by discussing what makes a good composition with a quick line drawing starter task. Then you’ll draw out a design that can be layered with your choice of collaged paper and paint. You’ll be guided to effectively use lines, shapes and layering to build up your design. By the end of the session you can take away your own A4 design that's ready to pop in a frame. Standard white frames are available to buy at the end of the session to present your work in for yourself or as a gift.

Your teacher, Helena, is a fully qualified teacher of BTEC and A Level Art & Design and Graphic Design with experience of running workshops for adults and children of all ages.
