Join us for a fun and creative event designed for Artists and total beginners alike. Whether you're a seasoned artist looking to explore drawing and sketching techniques or, a complete novice eager to learn, this workshop is perfect for you.
Come join us for this fun and creative workshop where you apply sketching and studying portrait compositions, using the main fundamental rules and steps.
Nicole, an experienced artist and tutor will guide you through various drawing exercises and techniques to help you understand the anatomy of human face, observing proportions, measuring, observing tonal values, line, textures and drawing techniques., the Model/s will sit for 2hours with an interval of 15 minutes...
Basic materials provided such as paper, pencils, charcoal, erasers, sharpeners. Tables and chairs provoded, drawing boards and some easels. Best to bring your own easdel if you have one, and you prefer standing. You are welcome to bring along your favourite drawing medium (such as: pencils, graphite, charcoal types, erasers, pastels, A3 drawing paper)
The event will conclude with a short exhibition and private viewing (4pm-4.45pm) of all the portraits created on the day and you can have the chance to view works and connect with fellow artists. Also, some miniature portraits by Nicole Bartos will also be on display with this occasion. Each attendant is allowed to invite along to the Private viewing, 2 guests only. Refreshments provided. Guest names and details will be collected at the start of the workshop.
