The #ARTCONNECTS festival of Creativity

This will be a 3 day event 23-25 Feb 2018 for children, parents, teachers, creatives and businesses that will build on our previous events, and consist of the following elements :.

<< FRI DAY: 'Pop-Up STEAM Co. Day' in a Kings Cross secondary school for groups of 12 primary children from across the UK with teachers and carers: a day of creative activities and short talks staged by local artists/businesses

<< FRI EVE: 'Most Likely to Succeed' - a community screening at the British Library of the creative education documentary 'Most Likely to Succeed' with a guest panel to discuss points raised.

<< SAT DAY: 'Creative Schools' : a line-up of world-class talks/performances/workshops at Central St Martins showcasing the amazing work being down in our school communities and why.

<< SAT EVE: #DANCECONNECTS : a dance party in Kings Cross for everyone who is travelling down and wants to stay over as well as those who just don't want to go home (well not too early anyway! ;-) But be warned, we're fussy about our dance music. We're going to blow the roof off with 'Dr Dance'.

<< SUN DAY: 'Creative Lives' : a line-up of world-class talks/performances/workshops by local and national artists/carers to showcase the power of creativity in community and the creative economy.

<< ALL WEEKEND: '#ILOVEART' : official campaign of arts activism by JR, a leading French graffitti Artist and $1m TED prize winner, who will large format print hundreds of selfies we send him of people/children celebration their art to be displayed around Kings Cross!

We are delighted to have The TES, Drum and NetMums as media partners and, after a great meeting with The Guardian last week, hope to be able to include them too.
