Our speaker for the evening Revd Dr Malcolm Brown will be looking at some of the ethical challenges associated with advances in Artificial Intelligence and robotics, and will suggest some theological perspectives for understanding these developments

Revd Dr Malcolm Brown, Church of England

Revd Canon Dr Malcolm Brown is Director of Mission and Public Affairs for the Church of England. His academic work has been primarily in the field of Christian Ethics and Political Economy and he has taught Ethics and Practical Theology for a number of universities. He is the author of several books including After the Market (Peter Lang, 2004), Tensions in Christian Ethics (SPCK, 2010) and Anglican Social Theology (CHP, 2014).
