Artisan Bread Making Workshop

At bread for life we believe that bread and food is at its tastiest and healthiest when it is made with fresh ingredients using time honoured methods. It is our desire as bread makers and cooks to ensure that the making and eating of fresh, strong bread and wholesome, delicious homemade food reaches as many people as possible, especially our local community, through workshops, collaborations, demonstrations, festivals and events.

Bread For Life Workshops

Come join us at Manor Farm Cookery School next to Britains "Rural Capital of Food" for a days baking.
You'll learn how to mill our own spelt flour and local wheat to use for bread making using the Mockmill 100, along with using stoneground unbleached flours to handcraft beautiful breads. You will also learn how to shape croissants and pain au chocolat. Everything will be baked and you will get to take all of your goodies home with you to enjoy. Along with a jar of our very own 5 year old Sourdough Starter, you'll be guided on how to maintain your new starter for sourdough bread making.
Included in your days experience at this beautiful, converted barn cookery school in the picturesque rural setting of Grantham, is a light lunch of freshly baked sourdough breads, freshly prepared antipasti, homemade dips, cured meats, local stilton cheese and pork pies with homemade cakes with afternoon tea.
Everything is provided for you,  with ample parking on site, all you need to do is turn up and bake!
We look forward to seeing you there!
