About this event

Artist Talk at Sewell Centre Gallery. Beautiful gallery set within the grounds of Radley College OX14 2HR. Do Join Cassandra Wall, artist and curator Jenny Blyth to discuss Cassandra's journey as a textile artist creating beautiful abstract textile landscapes. From heather covered hills in the Peak District and seasonal moons, tides and reflections, Cassandra's textiles articulate the light, colour and mood in the moment. She infuses a lifelong journey of stitching and patchwork with 30 years buddhist practice. Despite the multiplicity and joyous colour that defines her work, it is infused with a sense of the quiet limitless space that we associate with meditation and that we seek to find in the natural world.
