Artist Talk: Rebecca Moss

Join Rebecca Moss for an Open Studios and discussion event, where she will share her research and ideas inspired by her residency at Porthmeor Studios.

Over the last three months, Rebecca has been in residence in Studio 9, and during this time has discovered many exciting sources of inspiration, visiting many local museums and experiencing the Cornish landscape on long walks.

During the evening, Rebecca will share her experiences, with a particular focus on absurdity, and will reflect on how it has felt to be in bright and sunny Cornwall following her experience working on an art ghost train with Museum Tinguely. She will share what she plans to extract and take away with her from Cornwall for current and future projects.

Rebecca's residency is supported by the Wilhelmina Barns-Graham Trust.

Timings: Doors open 6pm, talk starts 6.15pm

Information:

• This event will be seated
• There is level access to the building and talk room, and the toilets (via lift)
• The talk will be for approximately 45 minutes, with 10 / 15 minutes of Q&A at the end
• The venue has toilets
