More about Colin Pethick:
Colin is a professional fine art painter and freelance art tutor since 2003, he works from the picturesque Tamar Valley, sharing his passion across the South West. His journey began in childhood and deepened through formal study at Plymouth College of Art and the University of Plymouth, where he earned a BA (Hons) and PGCE. Colin’s work blends abstract and figurative styles, with oil paint as his preferred medium. He enjoys painting ‘plein air’, capturing light and texture. Featured on Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year, he’s exhibited widely, earning recognition for his expressive, emotionally resonant approach to painting.
