About this event
"Sir Ninian Comper: Artistry in the design and furnishing of churches"
As a leading exponent of Gothic Revival in Britain in the twentieth century, Comper is one of Aberdeen's most illustrious architectural sons.
In this illustrated lecture, seminal works located in Northeast Scotland and undertaken at various stages of Comper's career, will be examined, building upon the lecturer's involvement with the care of one of Comper's finest churches; St Margaret of Scotland at Braemar.
