About The Artist’s Cut
Northern Film & Media in partnership with BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, Channel 4 and Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival commissioned three UK based artists to take part in a unique film commission and development programme designed to nurture bold new voices in narrative film.
Supported by Arts Council England, The Artist’s Cut facilitated a structured and supportive environment for three exceptional artists interested in broadening their practice to develop and produce a short narrative film for Channel 4’s Random Acts platform. The initiative involved ongoing bespoke support from film and TV industry mentors covering story development, scriptwriting, directing and producing. Read more about the initiative here.
